FUNDAMENTALS | Pilates Workshop
with Lovisa Engstrand
Saturday, October 17th | 4:30pm
Whether you’re brand new to Pilates or looking to deepen and refine your existing practice, our Fundamentals of Pilates Workshop is an opportunity to slow down, get curious, and build a stronger understanding of the movement beneath the movement.
Perfect for beginners, newer students, or anyone who wants to return to the foundations and move with greater strength, confidence, and intention.
Come build the foundation. Deepen your understanding. Leave with tools you can bring into every Pilates class that follows.
Additional Details
Lovisa will break down the foundational principles of Mat Pilates, exploring breath, alignment, core engagement, pelvic and spinal positioning, and the intentional mechanics behind the exercises you see in class. You’ll have time to ask questions, receive individualized guidance, and learn how to modify or progress movements for your own body.
Rather than simply moving through the exercises, we’ll explore why we do them, and how small shifts in form, breath, and awareness can completely change the way a movement feels.
We have everything you’ll need for the workshop, including mats and props. Socks are completely optional and are not required for our Mat Pilates practice. Wear something comfortable that allows you to move freely, and come ready to learn, explore, and move.

UNBOUND Breathwork + Sound Bath
with Julia Hollenberg
Monday, October 19th | 7:30pm
Unbound is an invitation into expansion, release, and freedom- an embodied experience of reconnecting with your limitless potential and innate wisdom. Breath and sound are the medicine.
Additional Details
In modern life, our minds are often constrained by conditioning and inherited beliefs; our spirits by ego and identity; and our bodies by chronic stress and held tension. This practice is designed to gently loosen those bindings.
Through conscious connected breathwork, we use the breath as a vehicle to move beyond the habitual, thinking mind and into a more spacious, open state of awareness. This journey supports access to deeper insight, emotional & energetic release, and may bring a felt sense of inner freedom or deep knowing. At the same time, it works directly with the nervous system, cultivating resilience, flexibility, and a greater capacity to meet life’s challenges with presence and ease.
After the breathwork opens and softens the places within that are ready to shift, you’ll be guided into a closing sound bath. Crystal bowls create healing vibrations to support deep relaxation, nervous system regulation, and gentle landing.
You may leave feeling refreshed and grounded, tender and open, deeply relaxed, or carrying a clear insight- a quiet pearl of wisdom arising from within.
This practice is complementary to many therapies, catalyzing and deepening your already-unfolding process. It is also for the psychedelic-curious, and for those working with psychedelics; breathwork serves as a powerful intention-setting or integration experience, helping translate expanded states into embodied wisdom.
This experience is for you if you're:
- seeking nervous system support & regulation
- seeking avenues for deep relaxation
- feeling “in your head”, mentally overworked, or stuck in habitual patterns
- Seeking clarity and insight
- A curious soul wanting to explore the deeper aspects of your being
psychedelic-curious
seeking intention-setting or integration work to enhance psychedelic work - A beginner or experienced breathwork practitioner
- seeking healing but unable to engage in physical activity or yoga
Contraindications:Breathwork is very safe. And because it activates the nervous system, email Julia to discuss if breathwork is appropriate for you if you have any of the following: Heart conditions (history of heart attack, stroke, uncontrolled high blood pressure), eye conditions (glaucoma, detached retina), PTSD or other mental health condition requiring hospitalization in the last 10 years (please discuss with your therapist to get clearance), and history of seizures. Julia can be reached at: julia@juliahollenberg.com
Preparing for breathwork: Please eat a nourishing snack or meal about 2 hours before the journey. Wear comfortable non-restrictive clothing. We have mats, blankets, and bolsters in the studio for your comfort. If you wish, bring any additional props or accessories that allow you to feel comfortable and cozy in a reclined position. You may also bring an eye shade, and journal if desired. Most importantly, come with a curious and open mind. It’s recommended to not make plans after the journey that would be stimulating, to allow for a gentle and restful landing.

SHIFT | The Art of Inversion
with Julia Hollenberg
Immersion One: Saturday, October 31st | 2:00 - 4:00pm
Immersion Two: Saturday, November 14th | 2:00 - 4:00pm
SHIFT | The Art of Inversion is a two-part immersion into the foundations, mechanics, and playful possibilities of an inversion practice. Part One builds the foundation. Part Two turns it upside down. Together, they invite us to discover what becomes possible when we’re willing to see the world - and ourselves - a little differently.
Additional Details
Drawing inspiration from the archetype of The Hanged Man, a symbol of surrender, shifting perspectives, and the sacred pause, we’ll approach inversions as both a physical practice and an opportunity for self-study. We’ll notice the stories that arise when something feels unfamiliar, explore our relationship with fear and control, and develop the strength, awareness, and trust that allow us to meet challenge with greater curiosity. Along the way, we may discover that going upside down is less about conquering a pose and more about expanding what we believe is possible.
This series is for students wanting to build the strength, body awareness, and confidence to explore inversions with greater curiosity and play, and less intimidation. Whether you’re brand new to going upside down or looking to refine an existing practice, you’ll develop practical skills and a deeper understanding of how the body organizes itself in space. Teachers looking to increase their confidence and skill in practicing or teaching inversions are also welcome.
Part One | Build the Foundation
Before we go upside down, we’ll build the physical intelligence that makes inversions more accessible, sustainable, and fun.
Through familiar asana like Mountain Pose, Down Dog, Chaturanga, Warrior III, and Dolphin, we’ll explore alignment, strength, and support through the core, pelvis, shoulder girdle, and hands. Rather than memorizing alignment rules, we’ll learn to feel what support actually feels like, developing the internal map we need to eventually take our practice upside down.
We will not invert in Part One.
This workshop stands beautifully on its own for anyone wanting to deepen their understanding of foundational postures, refine alignment, build functional strength, and develop greater embodied awareness. It also creates the foundation for students continuing into Part Two.
Part Two | Shift Your Perspective
Now, we take everything we’ve cultivated - and turn it upside down.
Using Headstand and Handstand as our primary inversions, we’ll explore progressive variations, preparatory practices, and wall-supported shapes designed to build strength, skill, balance, and confidence.
The wall becomes a laboratory for experimentation, refinement, and play as we explore not only the mechanics of getting upside down, but also the less tangible dimensions of inversion: trust, courage, surrender, and perspective.
The invitation isn't to achieve a perfect inversion. It’s to become curious about what happens when you change your point of view.
Come for the inversions. Stay for the inner perspective shift.

Reiki Healer Training
with Josephine Edmondson
September 16 - 19, 2027
Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing developed in the early 20th century by Mikao Usui. Drawing from traditions such as Buddhism, Taoism, Shintoism, and traditional Japanese methods, Reiki teaches that “rei” means universal and “ki” means life force energy. This vital energy flows through all living beings and can be harnessed to restore balance and support healing.
Additional Details
In this training, Jo will guide participants through the foundations of Reiki with an approach that is both trauma-sensitive and deeply personal. Reiki involves the practitioner placing their hands on or near the recipient’s body to channel energy. The goal is relaxation, stress reduction, and supporting the body’s natural healing processes. When life force energy is blocked or disrupted, it can lead to imbalance. By channeling Reiki, practitioners help clear these blockages, restoring flow and vitality.
This training is for anyone curious about exploring themselves more deeply. You don’t need plans to become a Reiki practitioner - simply bring your curiosity and openness. If you do wish to share Reiki with clients, you’ll also gain the knowledge and tools to get started. Reiki is especially valuable for those who teach restorative yoga, guide breathwork, or work in therapeutic settings, offering a powerful complement to existing practices.
